You used what for curriculum? Belgian team trains Bukavu educators

International friends trained our local teachers in how to turn trash into teaching tools.

In January, we were honored to have guests from Belgium tutor our staff and other local educators in ways to use commonly-discarded items in education. These include plastic bottles, cardboard, wood scrap and paper. Lesson plans include language, geography, physics and math. We're pleased to help keep our community clean while also discovering cheap and free items we can use to educate. We thank our friends from Belgium for their insight and generous spirit.
