Help children and families rise above poverty and despair.
Most of us have a soft spot in our hearts for children.
Simply viewing photos of kids from around the world often motivates people to acts of compassion and generosity.
This is a good thing – as far as it goes.
But what happens after children grow up?
Their needs and problems only multiply. One day they’ll step into adulthood without a safety net. Will they be equipped to face the world with education and skills? Or will they be trapped in a multigenerational cycle of poverty?
Future Hope Africa is committed to breaking that cycle.
Instead of childhood leading to a dead end, we’re propelling young people across a bridge of self-sufficiency and self-respect. In turn, they can help others make the journey. In challenging times like this, we need your help.
Our end-of-year goal is $10,000
Funds will go toward scholarships and our programs to train and support aspiring business people. A generous donor has agreed to match up to $2,000, so your gift can be multiplied.
Our role
Our part – with your generous support – is supporting students’ educational opportunities with scholarships from primary school through college. This is critical in the Democratic Republic of the Congo because public schools are not free. As a result, poverty frequently leaves children – especially girls – behind.
Beyond education, we’re committed to training young entrepreneurs in successful and ethical practices so they can create sustainable businesses. Our support to entrepreneurs also includes microloans to help startups get going.

Scholarships
Scholarships support students from primary school through the university level. In the Democratic Republic of the Congo, public schools are not free and poverty frequently leaves children behind.
FOCUS Business School
Our FOCUS Business School trains aspiring entrepreneurs in wise and ethical business practices.
Microloans
Microloans for entrepreneurs provide zero-interest loans to kickstart promising graduates of Focus Business School.
